Spring Time

My photography assignment won this week for my class. Here it is. It has been wet outside this weekend, so I'm looking forward to a drier week, hopefully the kids can run off some energy outside!!!

I'm behind on pictures, well pretty much everything in life:)

I've had my brother visiting

We went to St. George for Spring Break
And somewhere in there we celebrated Easter
I tried to get some cute ones today of the kids after church, I think they've had it with me and my camera!
So, I've got more of the above mentioned celebrations, I'll try and get to those this year!:)

Shutter Speeds

I had to play with shutter speed this week for my photography class I'm taking and I love this pic of Taylor swinging. She realized how to pump (yay, now she can swing even when I'm not in the backyard with her!) and loves to swing a lot, especially with this great weather we've been having. The other pic is one I took last fall in American Fork canyon, this is slow shutter speed and taken when it was almost dark, but that is how you get the water to look "frosty":)

Wall Hangings

I'm trying to get some pictures ready for my living room. I want to do some stretched canvas and since this is a little more pricey, I just can't decide what to do. So here is a photo I'm thinking of starting with, can't decide if I'll add scrapbook things or not, we'll see. I'm going to do 3 10x10s I think, one of each kiddie. The problem is I have too many cute pictures, too many cute kids, and not enough time because of those cute kids!:)

Baily is 1!

We've been busy with sick kids lately, but we did celebrate Baily's 1st birthday this weekend, and I'll get to more pictures later, but here is my doll!

First Time Skiing

Jon took me skiing for my first time Friday. I had a lot of fun and I think I did pretty good. I started out making a fool of myself on the bunny hill; watching the 4 year olds pass me by is always humbling. And then in the afternoon we tried all the green slopes. I had a couple good falls, pretty sure there is a blue pole that will never be quite the same since meeting me, and ended up with a good bruise on my knee, but I did the last run without a fall, so I felt good about that. Actually, the REALLY brave one is Mandy who watched my kids all day for us, thanks Mand!
