Christmas Time

What a great Christmas we had!

Baily getting ready to go to her Christmas preschool program. What a winter wonderland!
Baily sang great, her favorite song was "Keep Me Away From the Mistletoe!"

Decorating sugar cookies with the Taylor's.

All dressed up for Christmas Sunday. Really enjoyed playing Pachelbel's Canon for the church choir, you can hear us here. The kids sang Silent Night in German to close, it was a great way to focus on Christ for Christmas!
How do I get everyone to dress up and pose for pictures after 3 hours of church? By bribing them with big candy canes of course!

New PJs, a really fun Christmas Eve party at Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's house, and cookies all ready for Santa.

Christmas Morning
Baily, so excited to get her Pillow Pet Dream light.
Payton told Santa at least 4 different times she wanted a "Barbie Cinderella"

Taylor opening her new pet shops.

Trevor surprised to get a new lego Airplane set.

Jon worked with the kids cleaning out so much stuff from the basement for my present, it was great! So grateful for all our blessings this holiday season!
Merry Christmas!

Taylor's Baptism

In our religion we baptize our children at age 8 when we think they are accountable for their own actions. Taylor was baptized by her Dad, and was baptized in the same building that I was baptized in when I was 8 years old! Both sets of her Grandparents and many aunts, uncles, and cousins came to support her. It was a special day and she is a sweet girl! We are proud of her!

Payton's 2 Year Old Photo Shoot

I always try and take each of the kiddos out for a photo shoot close to their birthdays. Managed to steal a little time last week to take some pictures of Baily and Payton. Here are Payton's. . .

She is so fun and makes all of us laugh every day. We really love this little gal!

Garden of the Gods

We went down to Colorado Springs this weekend and enjoyed visiting the beautiful Garden of the Gods. The kids had a great time hiking and climbing and I enjoyed playing with a fish eye lens!

Field Day

The craziness that is the end of school has begun. Trevor and Taylor had a great time at their field days, winning many ribbons and letting their competitiveness come out!

Payton Is 2!

Payton turned two last month. She is such a fun little one to have around. She loves pink, playing princesses with her sisters and monsters with her brother. She just learned to jump and loves showing off on our new trampoline. She loves to read books and sing songs, and insists on doing many things by herself! She must be 2!!!
Grandma and Grandpa gave her a cute new outfit for her birthday.

Grandma Taylor took Payton to build her own build a bear. After watching her sisters build a few bears she was very excited to take her own bear home.

For Payton's birthday we made butterfly cupcakes.

Spring

We've been enjoying the crazy warm weather that March brought this spring. They turn on the water to stream into the lake by our house only in the spring, and it happened to be during our hot spring break days. I took the kids and our buckets down to play in the mud. They spent 2 hours digging, making messes, and catching crayfish and frogs. It was a blast, I have the best job ever!

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend this year. The kids enjoyed a neighborhood egg hunt on Saturday.

Payton enjoys her peeps!

I attempted to sew dresses for the girls this year, the first time I've tried all 3 together. Just made it for Easter Sunday, but they all looked cute. Little Trev got a new white shirt, boys just aren't as fun to dress up, but that is fine with him! We enjoyed church, looking at our Easter baskets, and a dinner with the Taylor family, including Blaine and Sara who just moved to Denver. So grateful for Christ's resurrection and my testimony to teach my children.

Happy Easter!

Baily is 4!

Baily is 4! In March our little sunshine, Baily, turned 4! She's been waiting, for what seemed like a long time to her, to be 4. She had a great time having parties with the Sanders' and Taylor's. She went and built a bear (actually a bunny) with Grandma Taylor at the build a bear store. She got to do the birthday ribbon dance at her dance class, and took treats to share with her preschool class. And she shared a birthday Easter cake with her Grandma on her birthday.

Baily is a really fun girly girl. She loves pink and purple, loves to eat sweet treats, hates vegetables, but will eat them eventually, loves dance class and school. Sings the cutest songs and dances around the house all the time. She often brightens the day for everyone in our family and we love her!
