Jon's Released!

After being the Young Men's President for almost 4 years, Jon was released a couple weeks ago. He misses the boys, but the kids and I are so excited to have him around a little more I can't stop smiling! He is teaching Gospel Doctrine now. I hear he is a good teacher, as I'm in Primary and don't get to go to his class. The kids are doing great. We are having fun gearing up for Halloween. Baily is sitting pretty well now and loves to eat new things. And I'm excited the Twilight movie is coming out in 32 days!

Piece of Heaven

Baily is really my piece of heaven right now. She is our little angel and we all enjoy her so much. Maybe she's just a great baby or maybe I'm finally learning to appreciate how fast they grow up, but I just love having her here!

Fall Leaves

We usually take a drive between conference sessions to see the leaves, but we went early since a big storm was here all weekend. We saw the beautiful leaves in the canyon, then had a fire and roasted hot dogs and smores with Mandy and Ian. It was a lot of fun. I always love being in the mountains. Trevor was especially excited. He had to bring all his "gear" and was constantly trying to put something he shouldn't in the fire. We all made it home without injury and are always thankful for that!

Catching Up

Well, we are busy as always, but I have a lot of photos of the summer I haven't had a chance to get to yet, so here is a quick review!

We had so much fun visiting Colorado in August. We played with Emily and her kids. Trevor and Taylor had a blast doing fun stuff everyday with their cousins! We had a good time at the Sanders' reunion too! And it was great for the kids to visit with Grandpa Taylor, and their Great Grandparents too!

We also made it up to Idaho for my Grandpa Baily's surprise birthday party. The kids had so much fun playing with all their cousins and it was really neat to visit with all my family. It was a great summer!

San Diego

We're back from our trip and a little sad it's over! We had so much fun as a family in San Diego. We stayed at the prettiest place in Oceanside right on the beach. The kids had so much fun going to the beach or pool every night when we got back from our activities. We went to Legoland, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, visited the Midway and the Maritime museum, took a harbor boat ride and ate great sea food! I'll post more pictures when I get a chance.

I also have pictures from our trip to Colorado, I just got my camera back that was lost for a little while. I'm busy now getting the car fixed (yes, crunched my new van on a deer, but the kids think it was a big bump, we just happened to be watching Bambi at the time in the car, go figure!!! Anyway, we are back to the routine and chaos at home, but we love it too!

1st Day of School

Trevor started Kindergarten Monday, Taylor started preschool today. Mom is getting used to running around a little more and Baily is getting used to sleeping in her car seat:) But we are all enjoying the excitement that comes with new back packs and sharpened pencils!

Summer's Ending

I enjoyed the last week of having all my kiddies at home before school starts next week. Trevor will be in kindergarten and Taylor is doing a neighborhood preschool. They are excited and I am too for the chance to go grocery shopping with a few less helpers! But I have had so much fun having them at home and playing all the time. They are a joy to me and I will miss them! I'm trying not to be too sad that my baby boy is in kindergarten already, I'll be OK! I have pictures of our trip to Colorado but I left my camera in Colorado, so they can't be posted yet:) We had a lot of fun there playing with cousins and family!
