San Diego

We're back from our trip and a little sad it's over! We had so much fun as a family in San Diego. We stayed at the prettiest place in Oceanside right on the beach. The kids had so much fun going to the beach or pool every night when we got back from our activities. We went to Legoland, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, visited the Midway and the Maritime museum, took a harbor boat ride and ate great sea food! I'll post more pictures when I get a chance.

I also have pictures from our trip to Colorado, I just got my camera back that was lost for a little while. I'm busy now getting the car fixed (yes, crunched my new van on a deer, but the kids think it was a big bump, we just happened to be watching Bambi at the time in the car, go figure!!! Anyway, we are back to the routine and chaos at home, but we love it too!

1st Day of School

Trevor started Kindergarten Monday, Taylor started preschool today. Mom is getting used to running around a little more and Baily is getting used to sleeping in her car seat:) But we are all enjoying the excitement that comes with new back packs and sharpened pencils!

Summer's Ending

I enjoyed the last week of having all my kiddies at home before school starts next week. Trevor will be in kindergarten and Taylor is doing a neighborhood preschool. They are excited and I am too for the chance to go grocery shopping with a few less helpers! But I have had so much fun having them at home and playing all the time. They are a joy to me and I will miss them! I'm trying not to be too sad that my baby boy is in kindergarten already, I'll be OK! I have pictures of our trip to Colorado but I left my camera in Colorado, so they can't be posted yet:) We had a lot of fun there playing with cousins and family!

Swimming

We're in the middle of swimming lessons for 2 weeks. The kids love it. They are fishies, we usually stay after the lessons and swim for a couple hours, they just love it!

Pool Party

Last week I had my friends from school over with all of their kids. It was really fun and chaotic. Mindy has 2 boys, Rusty has 3 girls, and Bobby Kay has a boy and girl. The only one not in the picture is Baily, she was napping. What a crew we all have now! It was fun, but we decided next time we're having a girl's night out without kids!

Summer Love

So Trevor has been playing with the neighbor girl today when he runs into the house with his hands over his mouth. I stopped him to ask him what he was doing and he'd only answer me with his hands tightly clasped over his mouth. It took me 10 minutes of talking to get out of him what he was doing, he was checking in the mirror to see if I could tell he'd kissed this girl. She is the "kisser" of the neighborhood ( I really don't think there is a boy on the block who hasn't kissed her!) and I guess Trevor fell prey to her charms. Later I was watching them outside my window. I had my camera out and just happened to have it ready for this. Great, I didn't want to deal with this yet! Isn't that another 5 years away at least! Well, I have proof and I'm going out to break up this party! Brother!!!!

South Dakota

We're back from our trip to South Dakota and had a blast. Trevor and Taylor are still mad at us for making them come home, that is the first time they didn't want to go home after a trip. We had so much fun seeing Mt. Rushmore, the badlands, the black hills, going to a rodeo, hiking Devil's Tower and seeing so much more, and had a great 4th of July!
