Christmas 2011

Here are our Christmas Adventures for 2011 . . .

Awesome sledding hill by our house, so fun to sled on a day off during Christmas break.

We got a lot of snow!!!

Frosting sugar cookies at Grandma's, or we like to call it "frosting Grandma's kitchen floor with sprinkles!"
Payton started enjoying this free reign of sugar.

Taylor is losing teeth right and left right now. She hardly has anything left to eat with! But she was excited to see what the tooth fairy brings if you lose a tooth on Christmas Eve, a golden dollar!

The neighbors had an "in" with Santa, so he showed up to surprise the kiddies during our Christmas Eve dinner at Emily's.

Reading "Twas the Night Before Christmas" on the night before Christmas

Trevor's surprise, THE lego plane.

Taylor's wish gift from Santa, an easy bake oven (it makes such yummy treats, uh, not really:) But she thinks so!

Payton was happy with the candy cane!

Baily decided 1 week before Christmas to change her mind on her present wishes and was determined to get a purple Rapunzel dress, so I got out the sewing machine and figured out how to put this together one late night. She was happy anyway!

We'v been married 11 years now! And Jon surprised me with a new computer, a Mac, so I am making the big switch BACK to Macs after a 10 year stint with the OTHER side.

Payton loved the dress WITH the Belle shoes.

Taylor just wants her two front teeth!

Trevor, still a good sport when Mom makes him match the girl's outfits.

Baily, she is really this mischievous!!!

We had a great Christmas and feel very blessed!

On New Year's Eve we hosted a rockin' Karaoke party that ended promptly at 9 pm, then we played a wild game of Monopoly with our kiddies and were all tucked into bed by 11, a perfect New Year's Eve!

Christmas is Coming

We have had a lot of fun with Christmas activities. The presents are ready, the kids are home from school, and we are ready to play and celebrate!

Trevor just finished an undefeated season with the "Lakers". He had a great time and looks forward to playing some more basketball on another team starting in January.

Taylor can really wish for her two front teeth this Christmas! I helped out with her school parties, so here she is for her winter Holiday party.

Baily goes to an adorable preschool, at Miss Patti's. Here she is singing for her Christmas program, she is a little star up on stage!

Baily is in the CUTEST dance class. Miss Muffy is the best teacher and Baily is loving every minute of it. Here are her pictures of her Christmas Nutcracker recital. The girls could where whatever they wanted, it was just in their little dance room, and it didn't even cost anything extra. I love the simplicity Miss Muffy uses, she truly loves the girls and they love her!

And I took a night away and helped a neighbor of mine, DeLane Robinson, with a photo shoot for discount tire. I shot over 200 pictures in one night, it was a lot of fun. Here are Alisa and I testing out the green screen.

Fall Family Pictures

Had a blast taking our family pictures for the Christmas card with the beautiful scenery right in our own backyard here. The leaves were beautiful, and the kids were pretty cute too!

Back to Fall

A little catch up for fall. . . We loved playing in all our leaves.

Trevor earned his scout Wolf badge.

Payton figured out how to put on Taylor's slipper socks, but nothing else!

Kids enjoyed birthday parties and playing outside.

Payton is 18 months now, so she started nursery, which terrifies her, but we will keep working on that one!

Had a great Thanksgiving with the Sanders.

And the kids had a blast when Jon took them all sledding on a great hill near our house. They have great snow here in Colorado!!!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween. We missed our old friends and neighbors since we always had the ward trick or trunk right out our front door on our cul-de-sac. But the kids had a great time at our new ward's activity.

Trevor was a pilot,

Taylor was a Princess mermaid,

Baily was Princess Aurora,

and Payton was the Princess that was leftover, Snow White.

Trevor and Taylor had a Halloween parade at their school, and Mom helped with Taylor's school party and peeked in on Trevor at school too.

After our ward trick or trunk we headed to Grandma Taylor's for dinner and more trick or treating. Baily and Payton loved running to the door to give away candy and Trevor and Taylor received more candy than Mom can handle!
