Halloween

We had a great Halloween. We missed our old friends and neighbors since we always had the ward trick or trunk right out our front door on our cul-de-sac. But the kids had a great time at our new ward's activity.

Trevor was a pilot,

Taylor was a Princess mermaid,

Baily was Princess Aurora,

and Payton was the Princess that was leftover, Snow White.

Trevor and Taylor had a Halloween parade at their school, and Mom helped with Taylor's school party and peeked in on Trevor at school too.

After our ward trick or trunk we headed to Grandma Taylor's for dinner and more trick or treating. Baily and Payton loved running to the door to give away candy and Trevor and Taylor received more candy than Mom can handle!

Myrtle Beach

We just got back from a great vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC. We played in the ocean and swam at the pool, and found fun places to eat dinner. And then we repeated that each day, it was a great break for our family and we loved every minute of it!

We spent a day in Charleston. We toured the USS Yorktown, which Trevor loved immensely. Then took a ferry boat to Fort Sumter. Then drove by and saw some of the old plantations.

Colorado Weather

This last week reminded me of why I love the weather in Colorado, but it can keep you on your toes. One day it looks like this; so we took some family pictures in front of some beautiful trees by our house. Then 2 days later, Payton is remembering what it's like to play in the snow!

We also celebrated Taylor's 7th birthday. She took donuts to share with her class at school, and we had a fairy dinner just with our family. She picked homemade Mac n Cheese and brownie cupcakes. We had a great time!

New Beginnings

Finally updating, sorry it took so long. Having too much fun with the kids this summer, and so busy getting everyone back in the swing of things with school etc.

Here are pictures of our new house. We are loving the pretty area we live in, the kids are making new friends, and we are unpacking, slowly, but enjoying our new house.

And here is one of my favorite parts of our new house, it has an awesome kitchen, and yes, it is ALWAYS this clean!!!:)

We really had fun exploring all the trails and open space around where we live this summer.

Emma and Baily at the lake by our house.

Trevor and Taylor by the lake too.

Where we rode our bikes to and had FHE the other night, and the sunset was beautiful from there!

And . . . I got my new camera and am having too much fun taking pictures with all this new fun scenery and cute kids, just no time to post them! Will be posting a link soon to a site with all the cupcake recipes my sisters and I made for my brother's wedding! Life is so busy, but very happy!

Here We Go!

We are finally moved out of our home in Utah, and have arrived in Colorado. Was definitely hard leaving our wonderful neighborhood and great friends, but we feel this will be really good for our family as we move forward to a new adventure! We'll be staying with family until the end of June. I've been so busy (obviously) so I've got some pictures to catch up on our last weeks in Utah!
Baily looks like this pretty much every day right now, she loves her dress ups!

Trevor has spent the last couple MONTHS building an airplane he wanted to fly to Colorado with us. He was dead serious about getting it in the air. He had half the neighborhood helping him, was reading books about airplanes, and was getting supplies from everyone's junk piles! He had plans to put a tv in the plane, snacks, get parachutes, and have Taylor as his copilot. We had to finally put a launch deadline, so we could have time to cut it up to put in the trash, which was the saddest part, although he already has plans for a new plane here in Colorado.

Trevor finished up soccer and did a great job.

He also performed his 2nd grade opera. The class wrote the lyrics, the story line, and designed the scenery. He was a customer, and it was very cute!

We did an Easter Sunday recap, since we didn't have a chance to take pictures on Easter Sunday, so we just took them a couple weeks later.
End of year music festival for the kid's school, Trevor was a lion and sang "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" . . . and I will put Taylor's picture in later, she sang "It's a Small World".

Payton in her first Easter dress, what a cutie!

Payton playing in our backyard, singing "Popcorn Popping".

The kids had little parties with some friends before we left, here is Taylor with some of her great friends.
Trevor outside playing basketball with his buddies.

There are many dear friends we will miss a lot! But are looking forward to our next adventure, will post our new house when we get in it in a couple weeks!
